WASHINGTON Quintin Demps Bears Jersey , Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed a sanctions bill on Russia, Iran and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, according to local media reports.


Several U.S. media outlets on Wednesday morning cited White House officials as saying that Trump had signed the bill into law.


Those officials spoke on condition of anonymity because an official statement was yet to be made.


Unlike the previous sanctions bills Kendall Wright Bears Jersey , the new bill also grants U.S. lawmakers power to block Trump from unilaterally lifting sanctions on Russia.


The bill was approved overwhelmingly by the U.S. Congress despite the Trump administration calling on lawmakers to grant the White House "flexibility" in dealing with Russia.


In retaliation, Moscow ordered the U.S. diplomatic mission in Russia to cut its staff by 755 people.
