QUARTERBACKS:START: Ryan Fitzpatrick Nick Boyle Jersey , Tampa Bay BuccaneersMatchup: vs. RedskinsWeek 9 Stats: 4 Passing TD, 243 Passing YDS, 2 INT, 23 Rushing YDS, 24 PTSThe Fitzmagic is back, Ryan Fitzpatrick delivered last week against Carolina, throwing for four touchdowns in a nail-biting defeat. This week he faces a Redskins’ defense that has struggled defending the deep ball all season and has allowed opposing QB’s to run rampant. This one could get going right at the jump for the former Harvard star, and look for him to put up one of his best showings of 2018.Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY SportsSIT: Matt Stafford, Detroit LionsMatchup: @ BearsWeek 9 Stats: 199 Passing YDS, 1 Fumble, 6.6 PTSAfter being sacked ten times on Sunday afternoon, Matt Stafford now faces the the preeminent pass rush in the NFC North. Stafford has only amassed 20 FPTS twice this season. The trade of Golden Tate has sapped the Lions’ offense. This is not the week to start the former number one pick.Brad Rempel-USA TODAY SportsRUNNING BACKS:START: Aaron Jones, Green Bay PackersMatchup: vs. Dolphins Week 9 Stats: 76 Rushing YDS, 2 Receptions, 10 Receiving YDS, 1 Fumble, 8.6 PTSAfter being given the reins to the ground game, Aaron Jones is ready to put the league on notice against a putrid Dolphins defense that has allowed the fourth most RB FPTS this season. After losing a fumble on Sunday Night Football that decided the Packers’ fate, I’m expecting an onslaught from both Aarons this Sunday, and Jones becomes a must-start option.Stew Milne-USA TODAY SportsSIT: Leonard FournetteMatchup: @ ColtsLeonard Fournette is expected to return this Sunday after missing six of the Jaguars’ past seven contests. With the addition of Carlos Hyde to the running back corp in Jacksonville, I don't expect Doug Marrone to throw the former LSU star right back into the fire, and expect him to bring him back gradually to preserve his health going into the remainder of the season.Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY SportsWIDE RECEIVERS:START: Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals Matchup: vs. SaintsWith A.J. Green sidelined for the foreseeable future, Tyler Boyd becomes the top option on the outside for Andy Dalton. The Saints have allowed the most FPTS to receivers this season and while I don't expect Andy Dalton to air it out any more than usual, Boyd gets a boost after two weeks of prepping for this matchup during the Bengals’ bye.Aaron Doster-USA TODAY SportsSIT: Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans Matchup: vs. PatriotsWeek 9 Stats: 6 Receptions, 56 Receiving YDS Cheap Hayden Hurst Jersey , 12 PTSThe former first round pick has caught less than 50% of his targets over the past three contests. It doesn't help Corey Davis’ fantasy value that he is constantly shadowed by the opposing teams’ best cornerback. Already this season he’s matched up against Jalen Ramsey, Tre’Davious White, Casey Hayward, and this week he gets to see Stephon Gilmore. I’m keeping him on the bench this week and going forward.Tim Heitman-USA TODAY SportsTIGHT ENDS:START: George KittleMatchup: vs. GiantsWeek 9 Stats: 4 Receptions, 108 YDS, 1 TD, 20.8 PTSGeorge Kittle is one of only three tight ends this season to post 20-plus FPTS in three or more outings. He has become one of the elite options at the position in only his second season. Look for him to light it up on Monday Night Football before the 49ers go into their bye week.Kyle Terada-USA TODAY SportsSIT: Jared Cook, Oakland RaidersMatchup: vs. ChargersWeek 9 Stats: 2 Receptions, 20 YDS, 4 PTSJared Cook’s early season explosion has subsided and he has turned into the largely boom-or-bust option that most people expected him to be coming into the season. With the questions concerning the Raiders at the quarterback position, none of their offense skill players should be trusted going down the stretch unless their is a major shift in production.Kyle Terada-USA TODAY SportsTHURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: Carolina Panthers @ Pittsburgh SteelersPanthers:Cam Newton: StartChristian McCaffrey: Start Devin Funchess: FlexD.J. Below is my final 2018 prediction for the Baltimore Ravens.Week 1: Buffalo BillsThe Bills announced Nathan Peterman as their starting quarterback for Week 1, which should bode well for Baltimore. Buffalo’s offensive line will be among the worst in the league, while their receiving corps is far from serviceable. Ravens 24 - Bills 7Record: 1-0Week 2: @ Cincinnati BengalsThe Bengals offensive line should be much improved from a year ago, but there are still questions on the right side. Their defense will have several new pieces, including rookie safety Jessie Bates III. Like most AFC North divisional games, this will be a defensive slugfest. Ravens 17 - Bengals 9Record: 2-0Week 3: Denver BroncosThe Broncos’ biggest splash in free agency was signing quarterback Case Keenum, but they lost their No. 1 cornerback, Aqib Talib. Denver could be a wild-card team, or they could be picking in the top 10 again. The Broncos have plenty of offensive firepower, and the addition of Bradley Chubb could make their defense a top ten unit.Ravens 16 - Denver 21Record: 2-1Week 4: @ Pittsburgh SteelersThe Steelers are projected to win the AFC North, and there is little reason to doubt that. They have the best offense in the division paired with an above-average defense. They improved their secondary with the addition of Morgan Burnett, but their biggest question will be at linebacker. Regardless, Pittsburgh will win the first of two matchups with the RavensRavens 21 - Pittsburgh 27Record: 2-2Week 5: @ BrownsWith essentially unlimited cap space and draft capital, Cleveland found a way to acquire Jarvis Landry, Carlos Hyde, Chris Hubbard Youth Tavon Young Jersey , Damarious Randall, Tyrod Taylor, and Donald Stephenson among others. This will not be the same Browns team of years past. Baltimore has had some trouble when facing Cleveland on the road, and this smells like an early upset. Ravens 17 - Cleveland 21Record: 2-3Week 6: @ Tennessee TitansThe Titans offense should be much improved from a year ago under new offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur. With a better offensive line, Marcus Mariota will have a bounce-back season. Tight ends gave Baltimore issues last season, and that trend may continue in 2018. Delanie Walker will have a field day as Tennessee comes away with the victory.Ravens 10 - Titans 20Record: 2-4Week 7: New Orleans SaintsThis will be a revenge game for Benjamin Watson and Willie Snead. Watson was a vital part of Baltimore’s offense a year ago, and he could have a big day against his former team. The Saints appear to be on track to win their division and contend for a Super Bowl. Ravens 17 - Saints 34Record: 2-5Week 8: @ Carolina PanthersThe Panthers traded for Torrey Smith and signed Jairus Wright, while also acquiring Dontari Poe. They drafted former Maryland Terrapin D.J. Moore to bolster their receiving corps. Carolina’s defense will be a top-10 unit, and the Ravens’ offense will fail to make much noise. Ravens 10 - Panthers 31Record: 2-6Week 9: Pittsburgh SteelersBaltimore’s losing streak will come to an end with a matchup against their rivals. These games are usually close regardless of records, but the Ravens will have the advantage this time around.Ravens 28- Steelers 17Record: 3-6Week 10: ByeRecord: 3-6Week 11: Cincinnati BengalsThe Ravens have been excellent coming off of their bye week in the John Harbaugh era. This year will be no different as they will dismantle the weak Cincinnati Bengals at home. Ravens 27 - Bengals 3Record: 4-6Week 12: Oakland RaidersThe Jon Gruden led Raiders have a lot of questions to answer this season, especially after trading Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears. Oakland will not have the fairy tale season many are predicting.Ravens 27 - Raiders 17Record: 5-6Week 13: @ Atlanta FalconsDespite making the playoffs, Atlanta’s offense had a disappointing 2017 season after an impressive showing in 2016. The Falcons lost Taylor Gabriel and Dontari Poe this offseason, yet signed Justin Bethel. The addition of Calvin Ridley will boost their offense, and they will contend for a division title in a tough NFC South.Ravens 24 - Atlanta 42Record: 5-7Week 14: @ Kansas City ChiefsThe Chiefs acquired Kendall Fuller, Sammy Watkins, and Anthony Hitchens among others this offseason, but their most significant loss was quarterback Alex Smith. With Patrick Mahomes set to be the starter, Kansas City will struggle. Ravens 27 - Chiefs 13Record: 6-7Week 15: Tampa Bay BuccaneersFormer Raven Ryan Jensen will return to Baltimore, but it will not bode well for his new team. Tampa Bay had an interesting offseason as they bolstered their defensive line by adding Jason Pierre-Paul and Beau Allen, but with uncertainty at the quarterback position, they will have another forgettable season.Ravens 21 - Tampa Bay 10Record: 7-7Week 16: @ Los Angeles ChargersThe Chargers were the best team that did not make the playoffs last year. They finished the 2017 season red-hot after starting out 0-4. Los Angeles has a dominant pass-rush that will undoubtedly test Baltimore’s new offensive line. The Chargers are Super Bowl contenders, while the Ravens may be a year or two away. Ravens 13 - Chargers 31Record: 7-8Week 17: Cleveland BrownsDepending on the rest of the AFC, this game may not mean much for the Ravens. At 7-8, Baltimore could conceivably still be in the playoff hunt. After losing their first matchup, the Ravens will be looking for revenge. The Browns have significantly improved this offseason, but sweeping Baltimore seems a little unrealistic.Ravens 13 - Browns 7Final record: 8-8
