McClellan is now in his second stint with the Jets since then. He’s started three of his Patriots appearances to record three catches for 55 yards, but is expected to be sidelined next Monday night due to a reported MCL sprain.Eric Tomlinson, tight end – The Patriots signed Tomlinson to the active roster amid a series of moves Tuesday. The run-blocking UTEP Miner went undrafted in 2015, and would be signed to the Jets’ 53 off the Houston Texans’ practice squad midway through 2016. The Jets selected the Ohio State Buckeye at No. 47 overall in 2005. Nugent, now 37, spent four seasons with the organization and is now on his ninth NFL stop. The Patriots signed Nugent this October after placing Stephen Gostkowski on IR.
